Lock-In Amplifier Survey

It is the intention of this survey to gather unbiased data from researchers, developers, technicians, and engineers on your current and future needs for lock-in amplifiers. We want to know what you expect from the technology and the industry. It is our hope that this survey will stimulate your interest in this device in anticipation of your current needs and future expectations and applications.

Classic and modern electronic instrumentation and measurement fall under the guize of lock-in amplifiers. Such instrumentation and measurements would also be called potentiostats, galvanostats, low-level AC current measurements, impedance analysis and spectroscopies, and dielectric analysis and spectroscopies.

The survey requires that you have technical knowledge and an understanding of your specifications for the applications that use lock-in amplifiers. The survey has 15 click-and-point list-based and two short-answer questions. The survey should require about ten minutes.

This survey is completely confidential. Any and all information submitted in response to this survey is only for our information. No personal or single entry will be viewed by or shown to any third-party. The only public dissemination of the data will be on this site and in the form of pie charts, totals, etc. The participants, and their specific information, will be maintained private and confidential.

It was seriously considered to use an incentive to stimulate interest in this survey, such as, "Enter to win a FREE Apple iPod." However, this would probably bias the results by attracting the wrong audience, such as primary school students. Therefore, we request that you please devote ten minutes of your time to participate in this unbiased effort. It will help us meet your future needs for electrical testing and measurement with lock-in amplifiers and their related technologies. Thank you for your time and participation.
